RAKU   SCULPTOR Pintki My art work expresses the thought that within each one of us resides a Higher Self, a Self separate from the ego. This Self can be uncovered through awareness as one strives to lift the veils of this beautiful core Being. One can "lift off the lid" so to speak and access this Higher Self and thus find Peace, Joy, Light and Love. Raku means enjoyment or pleasure. To me it also means serendipity, excitement, joy and sometimes sorrow. All the gamut of emotions are fired up in Raku. I have constructed these pieces with great joy and love and wish the new owner to feel the happiness I feel when I am creating a piece.
